Capsi Compounding Competition

Student teams from the U of S compete by analyzing and preparing pharmacy compounds. The winning team will advance to the National Compounding Competition at PDW. Each member of the winning team will receive a travel subsidy to be used to travel to the upcoming Professional Developing Week (PDW) where they will get the opportunity to compete in the National Compounding Competition.
















Capsi Patient Interview Competition

Individual students will compete at the U of S by conducting a maximum fifteen minute patient interview with the goal of identifying and resolving drug-related problems. The top two winners will advance to the National Patient Interview Competition at PDW and will receive a travel subsidy to be used to travel to the upcoming PDW.

Capsi OTC Competition

Individual 2nd year students will compete at the U of S by conducting a maximum ten minute patient interview with the goal of identifying OTC drug-related problems, making recommendations as well as proper counselling. The winner will advance to the National OTC Competition at PDW and will receive a travel subsidy to be used to travel to the upcoming PDW.
















U of S Capsi OTC Competition

Individual students will compete at the U of S by conducting a maximum ten minute patient interview with the goal of identifying OTC drug-related problems, making recommendations as well as proper counselling. This competition is held after PDW since 2nd year students begin their OTC course in January.

U of S Capsi Pharmafacts

Students will compete with one another to answer trivia questions in a Jeopardy format. Prizes will be given to the team with the most points as well as the most creative team.
